The Central Valley Affiliate needs your help! There are many fun and exciting volunteer opportunities that you can participate in to help us fight breast cancer. The Komen Race for the Cure Committee
Help us plan and implement the largest foot-race fundraiser in Fresno.
The Events Committee
Help our Events Committee review the Affiliate's needs, and plan/ staffs various events important to furthering the Komen Promise.
Education Committee
Plan and staff a variety of Komen and community educational events in breast health and breast cancer awareness.
Grants Committee
Help us seek out organizations in our community interested in receiving funding for community services that help meet the Komen mission. Grants reviewers needed.
Celebration of Life, Survivor Event Committee
The Celebration of Life event is a tribute to breast cancer survivors and their families and friends as a celebration of life.
Public Policy Committee
We work to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and community leaders, encouraging their active engagement in the breast cancer movement.
Sponsorship Committee
The Sponsorship Committee seeks financial sponsors to support various events and Affiliate-wide needs.
Public Relations and Marketing
PR/Marketing submits press releases for events establishing media contact, and finding creative ways in which to promote the Central Valley .
Treasure Committee
Assist with financial and bookkeeping responsibilities for events or other fundraising opportunities.
Acknowledgements Committee
Help us thank our volunteers and those who make monetary donations.
Secretary Committee
This committee assists the secretary with recording minutes at all the Board meetings.
Database Committee
Updates and maintains database. Must have computer skills.
