YOUR TEAM, YOUR IMPACT

Participating in the Susan G. Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure® with a team multiplies the fun, the laughter and maybe even the tears that you share on Race Day. Rally around someone you know who was just diagnosed, someone who has fought the battle, or someone who may have lost the battle. Together, with your friends, family and co-workers, you make an even greater impact than you could alone.

The Team Captain must register first and create the team before team members can join the team. A team is comprised of 10 or more individuals. Teammates can be friends, family members, co-workers, or anyone else who would like to join.

A CALL TO ACTION FOR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!

HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CHALLENGE

Are you a high school student that would like to honor their mom or loved one who has battled breast cancer?  The HSTC is a competition between high schools. Led by a Team Leader and a Faculty Advisor,  each high school joins together to form a team of students, staff and faculty  to run or walk in the Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure.   The Team Leader spearheads a promotional campaign to bring attention to the Race and to breast cancer awareness. The high schools compete with each other to find out who can raise the most funds, who has the most team members and who is the most creative.
