Major Grants

Major Grants are available from The Central Affiliate once each year. Applications for Major Grants may be obtained August 1, 2007. The Request for Proposals (RFP) and Applications will be offered on our web site as a single downloadable file. The deadline for application for Grant Cycle April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009 is November 23, 2007. All grant applicants will receive notification of funding status the last week of February 2008.

Small Grants, Conference Grants and Travel Scholarships

Small grants are available from the Affiliate throughout the year to non-profit organizations seeking to fund breast health or breast cancer projects associated with education, screening, or treatment.

Conference Grants are available and are intended to support local scientific or educational conferences, symposia and meetings in relation to breast health/breast cancer.

Travel Scholarships are available to non-profits to provide travel assistance to conferences relevant to breast cancer. Please see Small Grant Application for Guidelines and Funding amounts.

conduct breast health education outreach to Hispanic and Southeast Asian residents. Will focus on the needs of the under-represented, marginalized and hard to reach populations.

Hinds Hospice helps offset the cost of uninsured or underinsured terminally ill breast cancer patients. Hinds Hospice operates a full-service in-home hospice and serves patients in their homes or in appropriately licensed facilities.
