Events to Benefit Komen Central Valley

 August 15-November 6-  For the second year,  Food 4 Less® and Foods Co.® grocery stores are offering a third quarter cash register canister collection program that will benefit the Central Valley Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. This program is limited to Food4Less and Foods Co stores located in the Komen Central Valley Affiliate Service Area of Fresno County.

During August 15 to November 6 Komen branded donation collection canisters will be placed at the cash registers of Fresno/Fresno County stores. During checkout, shoppers can quickly and easily make a donation of loose change, dollars or any amount they wish via check.

September 14-Massage Envy-605 W Herndon, Clovis, CA:  Each year, Massage Envy hosts Massage for the Cure events in cities across the United States, including the city of Clovis in 2010. Participating individuals will receive a one-hour massage for $49, and Massage Envy will donate $15 per massage to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In addition, customers and employees will be asked to make donations to Komen for the Cure. Massage Envy is donating a minimum of $250,000 in connection with the program.  Donations received will be distributed to the local Komen Affiliate. October 7-Wacoal 'Fit for the Cure-Macy's Fashion Fair 11AM to 5PM:  In 2010, Wacoal will host Fit for the Cure® events to help women across the country find their perfect fit. For every woman fitted at a Fit for the Cure® event Wacoal will donate $2 to Komen for the Cure. No purchase is necessary.
