Why participate as a Team?

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® is a community event honoring people whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.  Participating as a Team offers a supportive structure for those that may not have had the courage or strength to participate on his/her own.  The camaraderie formed among team members is reflected in the spirit of the event.  The Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure is a race to the finish line, but it also represents the race to find a cure for breast cancer.
